Hello PMR!
So this week has been eventful. We had our new boy! His name is Jack and he is doing very well. He is 1 week old. 9lb 5 oz. Awesome baby. Doesn’t even cry too much. We are lucky.

Also, I got a night off to go to Santa Rosa on Monday night and Tuesday for my “Father day gift”. Got to do some fishing and the Sea Gal is doing mighty fine. Here are some pics! ENJOY!!

Moreover, the boat has 84 hours now. I want to come in and plan maintenance with you guys so I’ll see you soon.

Hi all,
Pacific Marine Repair is absolutely the best yard I’ve ever had the pleasure of being involved with. And that is over 60 years of boating, they are fantastic. In 2013 my 225 HP two stroke outboard was acting up. They told me they’d get it working properly. They worked on it all right and they got it working perfectly. To do so, they had to contact the outboard manufacturer several times. The manufacturers mechanics couldn’t help Pacific Marine. And they went round and round. In the end, the manufacturer sent two people out from the east coast. They didn’t have a clue. Allen and company taught them what was wrong and together they fixed it. It seems that Allen and company had to teach the professionals. What more could you ask for? Nothing more. When they says they’ll take care of it, they will and they do. Fantastic.

It’s been more than 7 years ago that you started servicing my Boston Whaler. We have evolved from 2 stroke to 4 stroke and two new engines. when you said you wanted to make the perfect Whaler for my uses and turned the team loose I could have not been more pleased. With more than 400 hours on both big and little engines I have never had an issue. Knowing The high level quality work that is performed gives this owner confidence when on a 110 mile round trip (on a regular weekend) that all is right.Attached are some of the more memorable catches and locals.

Thanks again for the ongoing great work and support. It is worth driving 100 miles for great service.

Good Morning,

I wanted to send along a note of thanks for the help, patience, creativity and fine work that you and the crew provided me on my Striper. In retrospect, I brought you a nightmare project and instead of calling me an idiot (although you were thinking it) you helped me navigate through my mistakes. Although the weather did not cooperate and allow me to get the boat on the water, I cleaned it up and drank a beer while sitting in the driveway! Really happy to have it back. It looks great and I am looking forward to many trips in 2013.

I first brought you a 1968 Larson Lapline with a 70 horse mercury with a fried powerhead back in the early nineties and you have been taking good care of me ever since. It can be hard to find good honest people these days, I am glad that I have you on my side and you have a customer for life. I will let you know how she runs after our first trip out.

Have a great week and a bright 2013.

My Best,

Dan

Pacific Marine,

I just wanted to take a moment to again express a sincere _THANKS_ for the work you recently did on my 17′ Radon. I called at the last minute, but you still found a way to work me in based on my schedule, and your staff was professional and eager to please. I appreciated your good work, and though I live up here in Morro Bay, I’ll make it a priority have you guys do the work on it. I’ve heard nothing but good things over the years from several of my buddy’s whose boats you work on, and I can now see why they were so enthusiastic. Thanks again! Best Regards, Jeff p.s. below, up off the west coast of Vancouver Island this last Summer… The last photo shows another boat you work on from time to time, and who steered me in your direction-

Hi Allen,

I just wanted to let you know that I took my boat out yesterday for the first time after you replaced the fuel pump. Everything ran great. We just did a local SB trip with my dad and his friend Stan. We had about 20 bass and 25 brown rockfish all on 4 inch Big Hammers.I know we talked about batteries a bit. After 3 days on the charger, the bats only came up to about 12.6. While running the motor it was up to 14.2 or so. Sounds like it really maybe time for a new round of batteries. Any suggestions on what type or where I should buy them? Thanks again for all of your help. If you guys ever get those boat stickers printed, I would be happy to put one on the boat and can probably get you a link from the Big Hammer website. Next tournament is May 30 in MDR.

Sincerely,
Bryan Davis

Hi

I am Cameron Nizdil and I am 17 years old. We recently did a sea trial on our newly refurbished boat, the Mackenzie Rae, and after getting the okay on everything was working fine from Alan Landry of Pacific Marine Repair we set out. Santa Cruz Island, Saturday, April 18th, I speared an estimated 75-pound white sea bass with my andre speargun. My dad and I were looking for some big halibut and didn’t expect to see this monster. I fought him in the water for about half an hour before yelling at my grandpa, Fred Jordan, to bring the boat over because it was just too big to swim that far. As soon as it was on the boat I knew I had shot the fish of my life, we guessed it’s weight to be around 60 pounds or less, but when we made it back to the launch ramp we borrowed a scale from a cool guy in nice Cortez 22, and it weighed in at 67 pounds gutted.

Thanks we have fished a few of your tournaments and thought you might enjoy this.

Special thanks to the Gang over at Pacific Marine Repair, when it was time to repower my 24′ HydraSports they were the only choice for the job!
I had them install a new 350hp Yamaha four stroke outboard less than a year ago and I already have almost 250hrs on it! I have noticed 30-40% better economy as well as 15mph over the fuel injected two-stroke we replaced!
Awesome work, great turn around time at a fair price!

Pacific Marine Repair,

I received your note in the mail regarding your commitment to providing excellent customer satisfaction and services and it reminded me to send you a note on the service you provided. We just returned from a six day trip with my 1998 Regal 292 at the Sacramento Delta. This was the first trip after the service you completed on my outdrives. I want to say that everything seemed to work as they should with no problems. The trim senders worked great. We put more than 100 miles on the boat this trip.

I was very pleased with the service Pacific Marine Repair provided. The communication and your timely response to my phone calls were excellent. Your staff left me with the impression of being friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. John especially was great to deal with and explaining the work that was performed, parts replaced, when I picked up the boat was appreciated. I was hesitant to take my boat into a service facility since I have not had to take the boat in for a major repair service in eleven years. I complete all the maintenance myself because of all the horror stories of marine repair shops. So I was very glad when my boat was repaired in a timely manner and done right the first time. The recommendation by the gentleman at Port San Luis Boatyard was the best advice I could have received. So thank you for your service and I will definitely bring my boat down for service if needed (knock on wood!) again without hesitation in the future.

Sincerely,
Patrick Griffin
